Shizuru once lived in a run-down neighbourhood with her mother and father, though they were poor, they were a happy family. One day when they were returning home from dinner, their house exploded before them. They were mostly unharmed thanks to her dad shielding them with his body. When Shizuru regained consciousness her right eye began to hurt, she covered it with her hand then once it stopped she crawled to her parents. The explosion and extreme stress triggered her dormant healing powers and she healed her eye and her parents.
