Noboru is a highschool student who loves Mikako. When Mikako gets recruited by the Galactic Army, it begins to really define the term "long distance relationship". Mikako is sent further and further from Earth, and from him, making communication difficult. They only have text messaging on their phones to talk to one another but as she gets further away the messages get delayed by years.
