Synopsis
Kazuma and his brother Ayumu move out into the country, from the city, because Kazuma's brother has an illness. The plan was to stay at their father's inn, the Yorozuyo, until the rest of the family could move. After getting off of the train, they board a bus only for Ayumu to realize that they had taken the wrong bus! They hastily get off at the next stop and wait an entire hour for the next one. While they wait, a monkey comes along and steals Ayumu's hat. Kazuma, runs after it through the forest, braving many natural hazards to chase the monkey that has the hat. Once retrieving the hat, Kazuma suddenly realizes that he is hopelessly lost! He stumbles across a girl named Ui Nakatsugawa, who will gladly show him the way back to the bus stop. They come to a creek, and Ui jumps over it with ease, Kazuma tries, and on the last step, stumbles and crashes into Ui! They both fall over and he ends up kissing her, all by accident of course, but to an onlooker it didn't seem accidental!
