Synopsis
Kunisaki Yukito is traveling town to town as a puppeteer. He meets Misuzu Kamio when he arrives at a small town by the shore and her bike crashes on the beach. After hearing that Yukito doesn’t have a place to stay, she offers to let him stay at her place with her mom. In exchange she asks him to help with her school project to research the history of the town, focusing on the story of two distant lovers (one of which was locked away in a tower as the last of her kind: a group of winged humans). As Yukito and Misuzu grow closer, the story between the two distant lovers also unfolds.
