Synopsis
At first look, Kansai's buzzing metropolis, with its neon landscape littered with cybernetic screens, may appear to be a technological utopia. However, a merciless criminal underbelly still persists in the dark alleys surrounding the brightly lit skyscrapers in the form of wanted criminals known as "Akudama." Kansai police began the countdown to the public execution of a legendary Akudama "Cutthroat" who is responsible for the deaths of 999 people. A mystery message is delivered to several elite Akudama, enlisting their help in freeing Cutthroat in exchange for a large sum of money. An unseen hand is attempting to bring these hazardous characters together in one location, assuring that the execution is well on its way to becoming a full-fledged slaughter.
