Synopsis
There are special kinds of "ultimate species" that possess extraordinary strength and magical ability and are thought to be at the pinnacle of power among all the monsters that walk the earth. Because of this, many people desire their skills, pushing some of these species dangerously close to extinction. Rein Shroud can use numerous animals' assistance for several duties, including logistics and reconnaissance, because he is a beast tamer. Due to his talent, he joins the evil and cunning hero Arios Orlando's party, only to be expelled after six months for being a non-combatant class. Rein is a rare beast tamer, albeit the squad who banished him was unaware of this. When he encounters Kanade, a cat spirit who is also one of the ultimate species, and is able to make a contract with her, his potential becomes clear.
