Synopsis
It has been fifteen years since the MMORPG Infinity Game was first released. Unfortunately for the games' creator, Akira Oono, the servers were being turned off for good at midnight. Sitting back and reflecting over the past years, and as the clock quickly strikes midnight, he suddenly finds himself summoned into the game as his character, the Demon Lord of Grand Empire Hakuto Kanai! He desperately tries to grasp the situation, but he encounters an injured girl fleeing from the demon king Greol. Kunai easily defeats the demon and saves the girl, Aku. She quickly explains that they are in the Kingdom of Holy Light and the people worship the Holy Church and the Angel Cherub. Akira Oono, quickly realizes that this is not something he wrote into the game and reasons that someone must have tried to summon a real demon lord into the game, but messed up and got him instead. Aku follows him around as a guide while Kunai tries to figure out who or what summoned him to this world.
