Synopsis
Since the time when humans could tell tales, rumors have existed of man-eating demons that would lurk within the woods. Because of those rumors, the local townsfolk never wandered outside at night. Legend would have it that there are also demon slayers who also cling to the shadows of night, hunting down the bloodthirsty demons. Young Tanjiro just happened to be living the nightmare. Ever since the death of his father, Tanjiro had taken it upon himself to support his family. Although their lives have been hardened by such horrible loss, they've found happiness, but for only a moment. Tanjiro finds his family slaughtered and the lone survivor, his sister Nezuko, turned into a bloodthirsty demon. To his surprise, Nezuko still maintains some of her human emotion and thought. Tanjiro now must find out if there is a cure for his sister and fight many nightmarish demons along that treacherous path.
