Synopsis
Corruption runs rampant all throughout Russell City, where manifestations of negative or harmful emotions called Horrors cause chaos and mayhem. The Makai Order is the only hope the city has against the unholy creatures. Using several small businesses as a front they send out powerful Makai Knights and Alchemists to combat the Horror threat. Within the secretive Order, the highest rank of Golden Knight has been given to a large and powerful man named Sword, granting him the use of the Garo armor and blade. With his amazing gear he alone knows of a plot that threatens the entire Makai Order, the only hint he has is the phrase "El Dorado". While fighting a Horror, he stumbles upon Sophie Hennis, a teenage girl whose brother had disappeared and the only clue that was left behind was the same phrase "El Dorado". The unlikely pair agree to help each other out, to find out what exactly "El Dorado" means and to find Sophie's missing brother.
