Synopsis
There is a horrifying and bizarre disease called Zonapha Syndrome: it's very rare and it causes its victims to try and endure severe seizures at random times. The only way to stop the seizures is to watch someone laugh. Narumi Katou is a middle-aged man who suffers from it. One day, during Narumi's part time job, a young boy with a huge suitcase runs into him while fleeing three adults. The boy quickly introduces himself as Masaru Saiga, the new owner of the famous Saiga Enterprises since his fathers recent death. However, other members of the family are not happy with such changes and want to assassinate him to claim the fortune for themselves. Determined to save the boy, Narumi helps him escape and ends up fighting. He quickly realizes something is off and discovers that what is chasing Masaru isn't human but sentient humanoid puppets with superhuman strength.
