Synopsis
At the age of 17 everyone in the world of Daikuuriku must decide on which sex they wish to become, male or female. Before the age of 17 every child is born into a female body, and those who have not yet chosen a sex are able to pilot the sacred chariots called Simoun. Those who are blessed with the ability to fly the Simoun are called Sibyllae. Aaeru is a young Sibylla who joins the Chor Tempest, a group of 12 Sibyllae. The Sibylla are supposed to be sacred priestess who use the Simoun to pray to the deities using the powers of the Ri Maajon, but due to an outbreak of war they are now forced to fight. Aaeru and the other Sibyllae must now deal with this crisis while trying to work past their own tragic pasts.
