Synopsis
Human society has collapsed at the rise of the machines. The few survivors of mankind have made their way underground hiding from the machines which collect and harvest humans for energies. Those who have been captured or raised as human batteries live an artificial life controlled by machines and are unaware of the truth. However, despite the realism of these artificial worlds some people have close to uncovering the truth as glitches and other phenomena within the software occur. The stories of those within and outside the matrix are told.
