Synopsis
There exists a world with twelve kingdoms. Each of the kingdom's rulers will live an immortal life as long as their kingdom's remain prosperous and the ruler is not beheaded. On earth Youko Nakajima is a high school student who is saved by a strange man when a demon attacks. As a result of the battle Youko is transported to the world of the twelve kingdoms along with two of her classmates. In the new world Youko's appearance has completely changed and she is able to understand the language of the natives. Unable to return home Youko reluctantly accepts her path to become the heir of the kingdom of Kei. While Youko starts her new life her friends, separated from her, must fight to survive as wanted fugitives from Earth.
