Synopsis
A television show called Hero TV places superheroes against one another in order to gain points and win the title King of Heroes and obtain awareness for their sponsors. In Sternbild City individuals started appearing 45 years ago with superpowers given to them due to a mutation and have been giving the title “Next.” Kotetsu Kaburagi is a veteran hero who has been having difficulties due to his old fashion beliefs and reckless actions. When his company is bought out he is forced to take on a new sponsor and revamp his image as well as being teamed up with Barnaby Brooks Jr. who has the same superpowers.
