There are so many different types of Anime out there and every one is different so I made this in order to find out what genre people like and why. Please show respect to others and their ideas thank you.

I'm a huge sucker for sci-fi dramedy romance. Throw in some steam punk and you got me hooked.

One of my old favorites. Has been years since I've seen it though.

Ah yes I love those as well as long as they are pulled off well. Really a psychological one that can get in your own head.

Mahou shoujo. Action Shonen. Seinen. Josei. Some Sci-Fi. Some Slice-of-Life. Yaoi. Yuri. I'm really open to anything though.

My favorite standalone genre would have to be Slice-of-Life.
However I like mixed genres like
SoL + Romance
Psychological + SoL/Romance
Romance + Mystery + Drama
SoL + Drama
SoL + Romance + Drama

I just can't seem to get into the more action oriented anime.

For a standalone genre I'd have to go with comedy. But slice of life is really good if mixed with comedy or drama.
