Quick Tips
There are a lot of neat little tricks you can do around the site. More tips and tricks will be added as the site progresses and grows larger. You may feel free to share your own tips and tricks as well on this forum by posting below.
Advantages of the new forum editor:
The forum editor has a lot of new rich features and we will be adding more and more as the site advances. There are a few key things to remember when working with the editor.
- Be careful of that pesky backspace button shortcut!
- Type out the entire post before adding formating.
- If you are using an external editor such as Word be careful of rejected text.
- If you're writing a long post be sure to copy using CTRL A, CTRL C. Before posting in case something goes wrong. That way you can just press CTRL P to repaste the entire post without loosing anything.
Remeber this is still a new features so there
will be issues. Be sure to report any issues you have. The most common issue will likely be missing text when posting. If this happens be sure to let us now! As far as I know at this point there shouldn't be any issues with this, but I'm sure something will pop out somewhere.
