Currently users can freely register without needing to insert a security code (CAPTCHA) until the validation process. The problem with this is there are some bogus accounts created. This is caused by either users choosing not to validate or can be caused by spam-bots trying to created user accounts. 

To prevent spam-bots a minor update has been placed to help detect possible bot attacks and to prevent bogus accounts from being created. Additional measures will take place in the future as we implement auto-delete features for unverified accounts. The time limit for validating accounts is not known at this time. Accounts awaiting re-validation will not have the risk of being removed at this time.
