.hack//SIGN
Tsukasa mysteriously appears in an unknown world in which he has no recollection of the past or how he got there, except for the knowledge that that this mysterious world is actually an MMORPG (Massively multiplayer online role-playing game) in which characters gather to complete quest, gain experience to become more powerful, battle monsters, and search for rare treasures. Unlike the other players in "The World" Tsukasa can feel actual pain and is unable to logout of the game. After he comes to terms with the truth he slowly becomes accustom to a group of players as they learn the secret of an item known as "The Key of the Twilight" which may hold the ability to bring back his memories. The only hint he has is a mysterious cat and the voice of a young girl. Tsukasa must now battle against the Crimson Knights who protect the online game "The World" while he searches for the truth.
5 Centimeters Per Second
Tono Takaki and Shinohara Akari have been close since childhood but are separated against their will by their families. The two manage to keep in touch with one another over the years through letters, but continue to grow apart as time goes by. Despite the distance Takaki continues to yearn for Akari, even as his life progresses towards close relationships with other girls, including Sumida. How will Takaki and Akari’s relationship flourish throughout the years? Only time will tell.
Ai Yori Aoshi
One day Kaoru Hanabishi runs into a beautiful lost girl dressed in a kimono named Aio Sakuraba. She was searching for a long lost childhood friend who she was meant to marry when she came of age. To Kaoru’s surprise the young boy in the photograph is no other then himself. Kaoru learns that Aio has ran away from her family who has found her a new suitable husband since Kaoru had ran off at a young age disowning his family and annulling their engagement. Now the two must reconcile their love for one another while trying to make a living as Kaoru is a college student, and Aio does not have any money or job to support the relationship they may once again encounter in the future.
Air
Kunisaki Yukito is traveling town to town in search of a girl with wings, whom flies though the sky, from an old fairytale told from his mother. He manages to make a living performing puppet shows along the way, which proves to not be very profitable. One day when sleeping by the shore side he wakes up to a girl named Kamio Misuzu. Being lured by ramen he finds himself staying the night in her and her mom Kamio Haruko. Kunisaki soon meets all sorts of other girls in the town with unusually personalities who may in some way be connected to the mysterious girl with wings he is seeking.
Air (Dezaki, 2005)
Yukito Kunisaki is traveling town to town as a puppeteer. Once day he arrives at a small town by the shore. He soon meets Misuzu Kamio one day as her bike crashes on the beach. After hearing Yukito doesn’t have a place to stay she offers to let him stay at her place with her mom until the day of the festival in exchange she asks him to help with her school project to research the history of the town, focusing on the story of two distant lovers one of which was locked away in a tower as the last of her kind, a group of winged humans. As Yukito and Misuzu become closer and closer the story between the two distant lovers unfolds as their relationship grows.
Akagi
After surviving a game of chicken, Akagi stumbling into a Mahjong parlor drenched from the rain. Nangou is playing a game against the Yakuza in a game to the death as he tries to gamble his debt away. After having nothing else to lose he gives up and lets Akagi play, he soon learns just how terrifying his abilities can be.
Akira
In the year 2019, 30 years after War World III, Neo-Tokyo is corrupted by selfish politicians, violence, drugs, and constant destruction. In this corrupt world a young boy named Shotaro Kandea is part of a delinquent bike gang. One day when they encountering the Clowns his friend Tetsuo Shima finds himself in front of a mysterious boy who phenomenal powers. Tetsuo is taken away from the group as the others were arrested for raging panic and severally injuring members of the Clowns. Tetsuo, once known as the underdog of the gang, now finds himself with godly powers given to him by a doctor hired by the government for a top secret project. Shotaro must fight against the powers of a god to save his friends and Tetsuo from destruction.
Alien Nine
Yuri is forcibly elected for alien duty in her 6th grade middle school class. The only problem is Yuri has a fear of aliens, especially her alien counterpart which protects her in return for feeding off her waste. Yuri, along with the rest of her team, must fight against daily alien attacks, capturing them, and even taking care of them. The only question is, will Yuri be able to get over her fear of aliens?
Anne of Green Gables
Anne is an orphaned child who is mistakenly sent to Marilla and Mathew Cuthbert of Green Gables. The elderly brother and sister originally wanted a strong boy to help around the farm but instead are sent a young petite girl with a wild imagination. The brother and sister eventually learn to love Anne as she becomes an irreplaceable part of the family despite many of the daily hardships she puts herself and bother Marilla and Mathew through—not to mention the constant headaches from her nonstop chattering.

BECK: Mongolian Chop Squad
Tanaka Yukio, better known as Koyuki, is a junior high student trying to find his way in life. One day after saving an awkward looking dog from being bullied on by a bunch of kids, Koyuki ends up meeting his owner, a musician named Ryûsuke Minami. Minami ends up taking Koyuki under his wing as he helps Koyuki developer his talents. Koyuki also ends up having a bit of relationship with his sister who is more comfortable speaking English over Japanese.
Black Blood Brothers
During the Hong Kong Crusade, an Old Blood vampire, Jiro Mochizuki, a.k.a. the Silver Blade, fought and defeated most of the Kowloon Children. Ten years later, Jiro heads to Japan with his little brother, Kotaro, in hopes of reaching The Special Zone, a thriving secret city where vampires live. They soon realize that a plan to infiltrate The Special Zone is being hatched by the Kowloon Children survivors. As they travel to The Special Zone, Jiro encounters enemies from the past and new threats that may endanger the safety of the Special Zone. The abduction of Kotaro, by one of the Kowloon Children, thrusts him even further into the battle.
Black Cat
Sven is your typical sweeper (bounty hunter) - down on his luck, chased by an empty stomach and a wallet to match. When a damsel in distress asks him for help he begins to think his run of bad luck is about to change, but unfortunately that isn't the case. Black Jack 21
Black Jack is considered to be one of the top surgeons who have ever lived with his extraordinary medical processes that are considered impossible by most. After the death of his mentor Dr. Honma, Jack pursues on a journey with his sidekick Pinoko to help save Dr. Honma’s reputation which is in jeopardy due to an outbreak of an unknown illness sweeping the world which is related to a secret project Dr. Honma and several other doctors were involved with named "Project Noir."
Bleach: Memories of Nobody
After unidentified beings known as "Blanks" start popping up, they are soon followed by an unknown Soul Reaper named Senna who quickly makes short work of them. Ichigo and Rukia are puzzled by these unknown beings and the even more mysterious girl; they then set out to learn more, but uncover an evil plot when a menacing clan tries to kidnap Senna. Banished from the Soul Society long ago, the clan's leader is sending the World of the Living and the Soul Society on a collision course, and Senna seems to be the key to his diabolical plot for revenge. Can Ichigo and his fellow Soul Reapers save the two worlds from annihilation?
Blood+
Saya Otonashi has lost all of her memories a year ago and is being raised by her adoptive father, an old Vietnam vet. Saya is attacked one night by a monster known as a Chiropteran-a vampire like creature that lives off the blood of humans with supernatural abilities and extraordinary strength. She meets up with a strange man named Haji who somehow is connected to her past and gives her a sword capable of defeating the Chiropteran along with her blood. After the devastating encounter Saya is picked up by her adoptive father’s friend David who takes Saya in as part of “Red Shield,” an organization dedicated to the destruction of these monsters. Now it is up to Saya to protect mankind against these beings.
Bubblegum Crisis: Tokyo 2040
Several years after the mysterious earthquake that ravaged Japan, Linna Yamazaki moves to Tokyo seeking new employment. Linna is caught up in a mess and ends up running into the singer Priss Asagirir. She eventually finds out her connection to the Knight Sabers, a vigilante group of mercenaries whose key weapons are highly powered mechanized suits controlled by the wealthy Sylia Stingray. By her guidance Linna, Priss, and the security guard Nene Romanova, seek out to protect Tokyo against the humanoids known as boomers which have starting going berserk.
Cardcaptor Sakura
Sakura one day stumbles across a strange book. The book releases a spell which causes a gust of wind to be released and scatter the cards within the book. Cerberus, Kero, is also released from the book who explains to Sakura that the cards, known as Clow Cards, were created by Clow Reed and hold powerful magic which must be stopped before they cause anymore damage to Sakura’s town. The two must now work together along with Sakura’s friend Tomoyo to help recollect the cards while learning the truth behind Clow Reed and the power’s of the cards. Not to mention Sakura trying to balance both her school life and her life as a Cardcaptor while keeping everything a secret from her friends and family.
Carried by the Wind: Tsukikage Ran
Ran is a young female ronin with an unmatched degree of swordsmanship. She wanders through Japan, looking for thrills and a steady supply of good sake. One day she runs into Meow, a somewhat younger Chinese girl who has tremendous skill in Chinese martial arts and a lust for strife matching her own. Together they wind up in all kinds of adventures, ranging from skirmishes with the yakuza, helping out clueless parents, to duking it out with an overgrown European woman.
Cat Soup
Nyātta seeks out to save his sister, Nyāko’s, soul. The two travel off in an extremely unique and interesting adventure full of mystery and very provocative situations. The two visit all sorts of worlds as they face many situations laced with social conflicts in today’s society as the two attempt to recovery Nyāko’s soul from these evils facing everything from vast oceans to deserts fighting off many enemies and obstacles.
Genres
Action
Genre with many action sequences meant to throw the audience out of their seats with stunning effects and stunts. Action titles will focus more on suspense over character development and plot and focus on an individual hero or two which overcome almost impossible events.

Adventure
Unlike action, adventure titles include plot focused on plot progression as the main characters move towards obtaining their goals through a series of battles and struggles. Adventure if closely linked with fantasy at times due to the overall progression of story as the characters overcome obstacles.

Comedy
Good humored plot meant to amuse the audience. Comedies are meant to be filled with laughter and poise often with a very humorous main character. There are many different types of comedy including satires, dramatic irony, slapstick, and many others. Most comedies end with all characters surviving at the end of the story, and often do not have the characters suffering any true hardships.

Drama
Drama is often confused with its subgenre tragedy. Dramas are titles which express plot through the dialogue and actions of fictional characters. The three most common forms of dramas are comedies, tragedies, and satires. Other forms of drama exist, but overall drama is defined by titles that focus on the interaction of fictional characters to express plot instead of actions. Dramas are more theatrical.

Fantasy
Fantasy includes magic and other supernatural powers as a main theme in the plot or setting. Unlike Science fiction, fantasy does not rely on science and technology to support its theme and has more of an adventurous feel at times. While fantasy does not require explanation of magical powers, the characters are still within bound of set rules placed by those powers. Many fantasy titles are based in medieval times and are in worlds with limited technological developments, but this is not a requirement.

Hentai
Slang for "ju hachi kin" which is the Japanese term used to referred to adult pornographic material. Hentai includes anime and manga with a sexual and pornographic nature. Hentai can be both hetero and homosexual. Homosexual titles are split into two subgenres, yaoi and yuri. Hentai in Japan is used to refer to someone who is perverted and strange, but in western culture is as well used to define pornographic anime and manga.

Horror
Horror is meant to scare the audience and create a sense of suspense and unease. The plot includes the introduction of an evil entity into the often daily lives of the main characters. As the story progresses the audience is supposed to feel constant shock and terror as the characters face intense hardships and at times leading to their death.

Mystery
Genre based off of a series of puzzling events made to make the audience think. Mysteries are meant to include the audience in the logical reasoning of the main characters as they attempt to solve the series of events that lead to a crime or misdeed. Many mysteries as well include a sense of horror or thrills as the character may at times face dangerous situations to uncover the truth.

Psychological
Psychological traits include themes more closely related to mental processes as compared to physical events. Most psychological titles include a series of highly emotional twist and turns as the main characters face inner demons of their past or present. Some of the most well known attributes of psychological films include high amounts of character development, emotional breakdowns, and questioning the very boundaries of existence and logical comprehension.

Romance
A love story between two characters that focuses on character development. Romance often includes an individual or group fighting against a set of trails preventing their love for one another, or in some cases love for the other. Romance titles are often combined with other genres such as comedy or drama.

Sci-Fi
Fictional aspects of science included to add a unique twist to the storyline while maintaining all other aspects of science. Unlike fantasy, Sci-Fi attempts to create new rules to the universe with logical reasoning.

Shōnen-ai
(lit. 少年愛 "Boy love") Not to be confused with Shōnen which is a demographic aimed towards boys. Shōnen-ai is a genre that depicts a plot about the love between young males. Shōnen-ai, unlike Yaoi, is plot focused with character development. Shōnen-ai typically not intended to be sexual in nature but instead more related to love and romance.

Shoujo-ai
(lit. 少女愛 "Girl love") Far less well known as shōnen-ai, shoujo-ai is a genre related around girl love, not to be confused with yuri which is sexual in nature. Shoujo-ai includes a plot about the love and romance of female characters. Shoujo-ai is focused on character development and plot and does not include many, if any, pornographic scenes.

Slice-of-Life
Slice of life is a genre that depicts realistic events with a strong focus on the mundane events in life with plot development. Slice of life is often described by very realistic settings and events, but will "cut-out" and only use the most entertaining parts of plot in order to produce suspense and entertain.

Supernatural
Supernatural titles include themes based upon events that occur outside the realm of nature. Supernatural themes include physic powers, ghosts, angles, deities, genies, witches, warlocks, and other supernatural events. These themes must be part of the main theme of the story and must not be confused with Sci-Fi and Fantasy which involve twists to reality but place importance on some sort of structure. Under supernatural genres the theme is based off of a unique event or power that is not seen as normal or accepted by others as possible. In Fantasy and Sci-Fi these truths are often either explained or accepted as part of reality making them not supernatural since these genres attempt to either place it as reality or have it accepted as an everyday truth within the story.

Thriller
Thrillers are defined by a sequence of constant face paced action filled with suspense and cliffhangers. Thrillers are almost always combined with other genres-commonly action and horror. Common traits in thrillers include a constant sense of danger, short but constant sequences of action, suspense, cliffhangers, and many more. The main characters in thrillers are commonly used to dealing with difficulties with ease and are able to face up to danger without problem. Most thrillers do not focus on plot nearly as much as suspense.

Tragedy
Tragedies are stories with often highly emotional plots and a sad and unfortunate ending. Many tragedies include a sense of fear pity for the main character and have many emotional ups and downs as the story progresses. Tragedies are very plot focused with high character development at times.

Yaoi
The acronym for the Japanese phrase: "yama nashi, ochi nashi, imi nashi" meaning "no climax, no resolution, no meaning." Unlike shonen-ai, Yaoi is focused towards the sexual relationship between male partners. Yaoi is pornographic in nature and designed for mature audiences. Yaoi commonly has no or very limited plot.

Yuri
(lit. 百合 "lily") Also known as "Girls Love" is pornographic anime and manga depicting a homo-erotic theme around the love of two females. While yuri is pornographic in nature, yuri may include some plot at times but it is not necessary.

Content Ratings
Young-Children
Described by content that is suitable to the age of 5 and does not include any form of violence, sexual suggestions, or other questionable material. Young-Children titles are titles created for child-development and teaching morals.

Children
Content suitable for children of the ages 6 to 9 and contains only very mild violence with the intent to teach and humor young children. These series may include some minor sexual references related to hand holding and other forms of "innocent love." Children rated titles should not include any blood, gore, alcohol references, or other questionable materials.

Pre-Teen
Suitable for the ages of 10 to 12 and contain mild violence, some minor sexual references, and very limited drug references. Pre-Teen titles are typically designed for entertainment and do not necessarily hold any developmental or moral plot, but still hold an overall positive disposition.

Young-Teen
Content suitable for teenagers of ages 13 to 15 and contains some minor violence and sexual references. Content may as well include drugs, minor gore, and some references to abuse. These titles tend to have some development features which gear teenagers more towards adult content in the future, but still hold an overall good nature.

Teen
Suitable for ages 16 to 17 and contains some violence, sexual references, drug references and other content. Teen titles do not include any highly violent content, but still may include fighting, battles, and death. Teen titles are designed for entertainment and may have some questionable content. Teen titles do not include high amounts of violence, abuse, or any other content that questions the mores of society.

Young-Adult
Young-Adult titles may include any non-pornographic or intensively violent content. These include war genres which have in depth description of fatal battle wounds, but do not go as far as to push violence to its limits. Drug and alcohol references are common as well as any other content. Young-Adult films may not include content that questions what is acceptable in films with highly suggestive content or any pornographic material.

Adult
Adult titles include all non-pornographic content regardless of degree of violence or questions about suggestive content. These titles as well may question any boundary up to the point of being illegal to show on public media. Adult titles do not include pornographic materials which are reserved for Mature-Adult content rating, as well do not include extreme violence which may be seen as illegal to distribute inside the US or any other firth world nation.

Mature-Adult
Mature-Adult is a special content rating design for all pornographic and intensively violent titles. These titles hold no boundaries to the mores of society or anything that may be questionable. Otaku Elite holds rights to ban any Mature-Adult content from its website in order to protect its right to operate within the US. As well information on distributors may be held confidential, or require adult filtering turned off in the future.

Filters
Filters are used to help eliminate unwanted results. You may choose from multiple categories ranging from content rating to genres. Simply rollover the filter tabs to select the filter options you want and then choose a filter method, if available. After you have finished selecting all the filter values you may click "filter results" to filter your results. You may click from several tabs before submitting to help save time.

To navigate around searches you may also click on the links below for content rating, genre and other values to narrow down your searches. Note that when you click on these links you will only return the results for that one content rating or genre and no others. It is possible that these links may actually show more results.

The default values for content rating only show content suitable for minors. To show more adult content you may choose to increase the content rating upwards, but be warned that you may have to turn adult filtering off in the future to access certain entries.

Reseting Filters: After you have finished searching you have three methods of starting a new search! The first is to click "clear search values" in the result bar. This will ONLY remove the values submited in the search box above.

The next two options are located under the reset tab. The first of these is the "reset filters" option which will remove everything BUT the values entered into the search box above. The final method is to start a new search which removes all filters and search values!
