    I think once you start doing tax returns and paying bills all of the glory of being an adult goes out the window. Plus side is you can always work for the government. Weekends and holidays off! Plus you get paid for snow days. :)

    I think it has to do with reality setting in. Kids want to be adults because they think their lives will improve or they want to be like their parents. Adults want to be kids because it was a higher point in their lives where stress was less abundant.
