Hiro seems to be a normal middle school boy but one day he was pushed by Hime out of the way and gets crushed by a falling iron i-beam. Although being quite dead he finds himself in the service of Hime because her flame blood revived him. Hiro isn't very strong, but being half immortal grants him the ability to be Hime's human shield.
