Synopsis: Anne is an orphaned child who is mistakenly sent to Marilla and Mathew Cuthbert of Green Gables. The elderly brother and sister originally wanted a strong boy to help around the farm but instead are sent a young petite girl with a wild imagination. The brother and sister eventually learn to love Anne as she becomes an irreplaceable part of the family despite many of the daily hardships she puts herself and bother Marilla and Mathew through—not to mention the constant headaches from her nonstop chattering.
