Synopsis
A year ago, Otonashi Saya lost all of her memories and was taken in by her adoptive father, an old Vietnam vet. Saya is attacked one night by a monster known as a Chiropteran (a vampire like creature that lives off the blood of humans and has supernatural abilities and extraordinary strength). She meets up with a strange man named Haji who somehow is connected to her past and who gives her a sword capable of defeating the Chiropteran. After the encounter, Saya is picked up by her adoptive father’s friend, David, who takes Saya in as part of “Red Shield,” an organization dedicated to the destruction of the Chiropteran. Now it is up to Saya to protect mankind against these beings.
