Synopsis
Dariel was raised by Granverza, one of the Four Heavenly Generals, and has served the Demon King's army for more than 30 years. However, Bashubaza, Granverza's son, dismisses Dariel shortly after taking over his father's role as a general because he has no magical ability and is therefore nothing but a disgrace. Without a place to live or a work, Dariel wanders the wilderness until he meets Marika, a human girl who is escaping a monster. Marika extends a welcome to Dariel to stay in her town in gratitude for his assistance. There, he learns that he is actually a human, which explains why, despite being a demon, he has no aptitude for magic. Dariel, though, is not your typical person. He may soon find himself entangled in the struggle between humans and demons, facing out against the species he previously thought of as allies, but having potential that far exceeds even heroes.
