Synopsis: Kei Kurono, a high school student, one day runs into Masaru Kato an old childhood friend. After a homeless drunk falls onto the subway’s tracks and Masaru is the only one who cares enough to attempt to save his life. Kei is forced by Masaru to help him out when he notices him nearby. While they manage to save the homeless man the two of them are killed by the oncoming train as stander-bys take pictures and secretly enjoy the site of watching someone die in real life.
Kei and Masaru find themselves in a room with several other people and a strange black sphere after dying. Unable to escape they are forced to fight against strange aliens at the risk of dying again. They have no choice but to win if they expect to live, and no clue how long this cycle of fighting for their life will continue.

Seinen: Anime and manga designed for older males often college aged or older and contained more mature content. Seinen titles are more plot based and less focused on action or slapstick comedy. Seinen as well normally has a much stronger sense of "logic" placed within the plot requiring a deeper audience.
