Synopsis
Tensions between the Empire and JSDF over peace talks have escalated in the large and enigmatic "Special Region" in the months since the infamous Ginza Incident. With more and more information emerging concerning the technological shortcomings of the ancient civilizations within the magical world, the global powers' curiosity and greed have also started to pique. Lieutenant Youji Itami and his gang of female admirers are battling to make sense of the intricate political intrigue that permeates the court of the Empire in the meantime. Princess Piña Co Lada tries her hardest to persuade her father that the JSDF has no plans to take over their kingdom, but she can't win him over. Itami has to think of even more extreme means to complete his job because he is under pressure from both sides of the Gate.
