Synopsis
Gauche is a determined, yet mediocre cellist who plays for a small town orchestra and a local cinema in the early 20th century. He is constantly belittled by his conductor and peers as he struggles to play Beethoven's Sixth Symphony. Dejected, Gauche heads home to practice once more only to hear a faint knock on his door. Over the next four nights, he is visited by various talking animals, who seem to do nothing but pester him into playing music for them. What Gauche fails to realize is that they are teaching him how to try to overcome his flaws, so that he might hopefully be ready for the big concert that's coming up.
