Synopsis
Ichiko Sakura leads a carefree lifestyle. She has everything she has ever wanted, including beauty, brains, and wealth, thanks to her good fortune. The goddess of poverty is Momiji Binboda. She is plagued with misfortune, in sharp contrast to Ichiko, including a permanent cast on her arm, a flat chest, and a box under a bridge for a home. When Momiji lives up to her name and tells Ichiko the bad news that her exceptional luck is the result of her unconsciously siphoning luck from everyone around her, their lives are brought together. Before she depletes everyone's resources and makes it impossible for anyone to even survive, Momiji has been tasked with reclaiming Ichiko's money. But Ichiko defeats the goddess of poverty with the assistance of the travelling monk Bobby Statice. Due to her defeat, the goddess is forced to solicit the help of Momoo Inugami, a masochistic dog god, and Kumagai, her teddy bear familiar.
