Teen titles do not include high amounts of violence, abuse, or any other content that questions the mores of society.

Synopsis: A 14 year old boy Seita and his 4 year old sister Setsuko become orphans after their mother is killed during a U.S. air-raid in Kobe, Japan during World War II. Shortly after they are placed with their aunt, which doesn’t last long, and are forced to live in an abandoned bomb shelter trying to survive with no food or money and nowhere to turn towards for help.
