Synopsis
Instinct, fear, and survival. Upon being abandoned in a strange and unfamiliar place, possessing only vague recollections and their identity, all they can sense profoundly are these three feelings. Grimgar, a new world where peace is deemed impossible to maintain, forces a group of strangers to take the only paid profession available in this game-like environment: playing soldiers in the Reserve Army. The charismatic leader and priest Manato, the anxious thief Haruhiro, the happy hunter Yume, the bashful wizard Shihoru, the compassionate warrior Moguzo, and the rambunctious dark knight Ranta must form a party to survive when all the stronger contenders band together. This is not a game, even if it seems like one; it's kill or be killed with no replays or respawns. Now it is up to this motley crew of misfit fighters to pull together and live in a world where there isn't much separating life from death.
