Synopsis
Disaster destroyed human society fifteen years ago, and now terrifying man-eating beasts roam the devastated regions, posing an existential threat to the last survivors. In the midst of all this chaos, children are protected and raised in tranquility in a remote facility. However, when a few of them learn more about the wider world outside the confines of their nursery, their curiosity about it slowly increases. Young survivors Maru and Kiruko join forces in the outside world to look for a unique location called Heaven, each for different motives. The two are searching for solutions to the violence they have experienced in their lives and in the world, which is still in ruins, while carrying loads from the past and heartbreaking secrets.
