Synopsis
The day the crown prince Cedric Jeanne Elmir annuls Aileen Lauren Dautriche's engagement to him so he might date Lilia Rainworth, her life is changed forever. The incident brings up memories of Aileen's previous life, in which she had played the villain in an otome game and was doomed to die in the climactic scene. Aileen's last choice to avoid her predetermined doom is to pursue and wed Claude Jeanne Elmir, the game's final boss and self-proclaimed "Demon King," who is also Cedric's half-brother. However, since Claude doubts her motives, it is easier said than done. Instead of giving up, Aileen persistently strives to capture his heart by assisting Claude in achieving his goal of establishing harmony between humans and demonic animals. But as time is running out, Aileen must alter not only Claude's but also Claude's awful finale.
