Synopsis
Humanity has expanded into space establishing colonies called Sides. It is the year Universal Century 079 and the Principality of Zeon has declared war on the Earth Federation resulting in an 8 month stalemate. In the course of this stalemate a newly developed Federation warship White Base has been attacked by Zeon forces when arriving on Side 7, killing most of the crew along with innocent bystanders. In an act of desperation Amuro Ray finds himself stumbling across the Earth Federation's top secret weapon, the RX-78 Gundam, and uses it to stop the Zeon forces. Without anywhere else to go Amuro finds himself part of the new crew of refugees and civilian recruits as they head out into the unknown fighting to survive unknowing their future actions will change the course of the war.
