Synopsis
In an alternate timeline, during the Meiji era of Japan, humans and spirits coexist. As a result, the Ministry of Spirits consisting of both humans and spirits is established to maintain peace. Of this ministry, army lieutenants Agemaki Kei, Yoshinokazura Riken, and Hanakiri Ganryu have been chosen along with the half-spirits Zakuro, Susukihotaru, Bonbori, and Hozuki. However, the groups won't so easily get along as Zakuro can't stand humans who accept Jesuit practices and Agemaki has a fear of spirits.
