Synopsis
Tsutsui Hikari is an extreme otaku, and he mostly avoids social life. Hikari has only one friend at school, who is a fellow otaku. They get brutally mocked by most of their classmates for being creepy and weird. One day, Hikari ends up having to clean the school pool for being tardy. To his surprise and extreme displeasure he finds out that he has to clean the pool with Igarashi Iroha, who appears to be pretty much everything he hates in a real-life girl. She skips school, is very blunt, doesn't have any female friends, and seems to be very promiscuous. However, she is friendly to Hikari, and even stands up to people who make fun of him. Hikari's bitterness and trust issues can cause him to say some pretty harsh things to Iroha, but she never calls him creepy.
