Synopsis
When gamers from all over the world swarm the Underworld's servers and throw the Human Empire into complete disarray, the ultimate conflict with the Dark Region drags on. While Asuna Yuuki and her friends do everything in their power to defend their new allies, their numbers are dwindling. Alice Zuberg is being pursued by Gabriel "Vecta" Miller as she moves toward the World's End Altar. Rath members prepare a strategy in the meantime to fix Kirito's broken fluctlight. The invaders who are occupying the main control room, however, have different ideas. When all hope seems to have been lost and Kirito is surrounded by death and misery, a familiar voice says, "I will always be by your side."
