Synopsis
What exactly is joy? Ritsu Shikishima, a high school student who has always been interested in psychology, likes to think about questions like these while he relaxes with his friends. However, as he overhears a strange voice crying for assistance while being muffled by static, his idyllic life starts to fall apart. A well-liked pop idol whose singing starts to have a negative impact on the globe has this voice. As soon as Ritsu hears the voice, the faces of his friends and family start to glitch out in front of his eyes, turning them into berserk creatures called Digiheads that are out to kill everyone who starts to realize their true nature.
