Synopsis
People of Slantania have existed under a veil of miasma—it summons monsters and causes havoc throughout the world—since ancient times. The Grand Magus calls for a holy maiden the fabled "Saint" to destroy the monsters and bring about peace when the Order of Knights is unable to hold the beasts at bay. After a demanding workday, Sei Takanashi is drawn into a strange realm by a supernatural power. As she arrives in the kingdom of Slantania, she learns that the Grand Magus accidentally called forth two Saints: Sei and a girl with dark hair. The prince designates the other girl as the Saint, deeming just one holy maiden necessary, and leaves Sei on her own. Sei focuses on the Medicinal Flora Research Institute, a facility well-known for its research on herbal remedies. Sei meets the commander of the Third Order of Knights in a crucial encounter while indulging in her latest passion. She is unaware, though, that her gift as a Saint will continue to have an impact on her new existence.
