Synopsis
In the small country of Sauville at St. Marguerite Academy there exists a girl who hides herself away within a garden atop a large library. There the girl Victorique spends her days trying to escape her boredom, surrounded only by books. It is not until one day when the third son of a Japanese Imperial Soldier, Kazuya Kujo, transfers to the school does Victorique find the one soul who may free her. After Kujo has been rejected by the other students because of fearing that he is the "Dark Reaper" due to his Japanese complexion, dark hair, and dark eyes he stumbles across the library where he meets Victorique who takes an interest in him. While Victorique refuses to leave the library without permission she assists Kujo and her brother solve the mysteries even detectives can't solve.
