Okay, since this is my first blog post I always wanted to write about this one question. Does making your own costumes for cosplaying instead of buying them over the internet or from stores. I mean that you hand make them out of clothes and stuff that you find anywhere like around home. Do you think that will give you more of a chance at winning the costume contest at a convention from the hard work you put into making it?

 

That is always what I had stuck in my mind since I first started making costumes and now that I'm getting ready for my first convention, I was thinking that I should find out what other people think. And being a country redneck otaku means for me that I hardly have people around for me to ask.
